WORK HISTORY & EXPERIENCE
Nikki graduated as an Occupational Therapist from the University of the Free State in 2016. After completing her Community service year, NIkki started working at Livingstone Hospital, Gqeberha, where she rotated between different fields of Occupational Therapy. Her love for hand therapy grew as she worked in the Hand Therapy Unit, gaining invaluable skills from collegues and through post-graduate training. Nikki then moved to Ireland where she worked as a senior Occupational Therapist in the Hand Therapy Department and was privileged to work alongside a skilled team of surgeons and fellow hand therapists. During this time, she completed a Hand to Shoulder fellowship, LLC to broaden her clinical knowledge and skills in hand therapy. She returned to South Africa in 2023 where she started working in Private Practice and finally joined the Joburg Hand Therapy team in November 2023.
