Joburg Hand Therapy is extremely proud to be part of the CUTE PROJECT.
The CUTE PROJECT is an international non-governmental organisation based in Italy, which consists of a team of healthcare professionals who freely give of their time and skills in order to treat children with burns. The CUTE team organizes and carries out surgical missions into various African countries, with the primary aim of assisting people with burns as well as training local healthcare professionals to do the same.
Joburg Hand Therapy has put together a South African team and we are fortunate to be involved in the CUTE Project from a rehabilitation perspective.
We are able to manage children / adults with burn contractures post-operatively, whilst also working with individuals to reduce and manage scarring. We are extremely proud to be part of this amazing initiative.
